Founded in 1992, CIBF has embarked on a glorious journey of 35 years. As China's first trademark-protected branded exhibition in the battery industry, it has gone beyond the scope of ordinary exhibitions and developed into the world's largest, most professional and most influential top-level grand event covering the whole industrial chain of batteries and new energy, known as "the weathervane and innovation benchmark for the development of the global battery industry".

Over the past three decades, CIBF has witnessed the historic leap of China's battery industry from "following behind" to "taking the lead". It started with only 56 exhibitors and an exhibition area of 1,350 square meters for its first session, and has grown into an industry giant with 280,000 square meters of exhibition space, more than 3,200 global exhibitors and over 400,000 professional visitors in 2026, covering more than 90 countries and regions worldwide.

Global leading enterprises including CATL, BYD, LG Energy Solution, Panasonic and Samsung SDI have long taken CIBF as the annual launch platform for core technologies and a key pivot for global strategic layout, jointly building the authority and influence of this grand industry event.

Scale: Over 300,000 square meters with 14 themed exhibition halls. It is expected to gather more than 3,500 high-quality global exhibitors and over 450,000 professional visitors at home and abroad, hitting a new record in scale.

At the critical moment of accelerated global energy transition and further implementation of the 15th Five-Year Plan, CIBF2027 takes "Mass Production Era of Solid-state Batteries, Large-scale Outbreak of Energy Storage, Commercial Implementation of Hydrogen Energy" as the core theme. It fully displays the complete industrial ecological chain ranging from lithium resource development, basic materials, intelligent manufacturing, cells & battery packs, energy storage systems, charging and battery swapping to recycling and utilization, and builds three core value platforms:
